Honey Badger Autonomy
Autonomy software stack
Sentinel's autonomy software split into perception, planning and safety layers that other airframes can carry.
- Problem
- Airframe makers can build the vehicle but rarely have GPS-denied navigation, autonomous planning and run-time safety monitoring in house.
- Solution
- Perception, planning and decision-making are separate modules, with a safety monitor between the autonomy software and the flight controller. Integration is done per airframe.
Key features
- Perception: object detection and depth estimation
- Planning: obstacle-avoiding paths, area search patterns
- Decision: behavior-tree mission logic
- Safety monitor: envelope, attitude and battery watched and enforced in real time
- Simulation V&V: automated scenario flights and log analysis

Scope
- Integration and testing are done per airframe under contract with the maker.
We are seeking airsoft and milsim teams, training organizations and public-sector field units to run pilots with us.
